Acupuncture for cancer care

First of all, let me say that I am a believer in conventional medicine treatments for cancer; my own father is alive five years after a diagnosis of stage IV colon and liver cancer thanks to the treatment he received in hospital.
Where acupuncture excels is in helping with the side effects of the treatment. It is common to feel fatigue, nausea, vomiting during chemotherapy and this can adversely impact what is already a difficult situation. Acupuncture triggers biochemical changes that influence the body’s homeostatic mechanisms, thus promoting physical and emotional wellbeing.
My clinic is always open to cancer patients at any stage of the journey or I can also do home visits if that is the patient’s preference.
